HORMUZ – What the crisis reveals about our naval industry

We are well aware that major global economic balances remain closely dependent on a limited number of constrained maritime routes, where disruption alone is sufficient to produce immediate effects on energy flows, insurance costs and the organisation of global supply chains. Despite diversification efforts, certain maritime corridors retain a structural importance from which it is difficult to break free. The confrontation between Israel, the United States and Iran, and its repercussions across the Gulf States, provides valuable insights into ongoing developments in the naval domain.
